Reptiles and amphibians are fascinating. Their colours, the texture of their skin, their eyes and behaviour is super interesting. Our main focus is to introduce these beautiful frogs, snakes and other creatures and to learn about their habitats and place in our natural world.
They are one of the most threatened by climate change, pollution, and habitat loss, hence they deserve our attention.
On our herpetology-focused holidays you will get to know the different ecosystems where these species live, learn about their habitats and their role in nature. You will be accompanied by local guides and herpetologists who have excellent knowledge about these animals.
These trips also offer you an excellent opportunity to improve your macro photography skills, or learn about it. There will be countless chances to photograph the macro-world.
We will be looking for snakes, frogs, newts, salamanders, turtles, lizards and in some places even for crocodilians.
We visit more exotic place like Costa Rica and the Western Ghats of India. We also focus on destinations in and near Europe, like our flagship Reptiles and Amphibians of Central Spain tour, or our new Herping Montenegro and Reptiles of Southern Morocco tours.
On our Herping tours there will be loads of hiking in a various habitats from wetlands, to high mountains to the dense rainforests and even in the arid Sahara Desert.
These holidays are designed for adventure-lover individuals who are interested in our natural world’s herpetofauna and macro photography.
We offer a couple of guided group holidays with a maximum participants of 6-8. We also offer private, tailor-made reptile-focused holidays that can be fully customised to your requirements.
