Explore our Bird Photography Tours!
Our bird focused wildlife photography tours provide an excellent option to observe and photograph hundreds of bird species in the tropics and neo tropics.
The tours are slower paced than the usual birding tours as we focus on creating perfect images of these beautiful animals.
You will learn about how to do birds in flight photography (BIF), you will take close up portraits and also photograph them with their natural habitats. In Brazil, Ecuador and Costa Rica you will also learn about how to photograph hummingbirds in flight with a help of a multi-flash set-up.
Our bird photography tours take place in some of the best bird watching places in our natural world. We visit the birding hotspots of Costa Rica, Ecuador, Sri Lanka and the Atlantic Forest and the Pantanal of Brazil.
These wildlife photography safaris are led by either a local wildlife photographer or by a a local naturalist guided and an international wildlife photographer.
All of our holidays can be easily tailor-made to your requirements; please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions.
Birdwatchers and general nature enthusiasts are also welcome on our bird photo tours if they don’t mind the slower pace.
While the main focus of the tours are birds, we often encounter mammals on these tours. Primates and bats in Costa Rica, Jaguars and giant river otters are frequently seen in the Pantanal, tayras can be seen in the Atlantic Forest, leopards and Asiatic elephants in Sri Lanka and we had a couple of very rare encounters with Spectacled bears in the Andes of Ecuador.
Our tours offer a small group experience with usually 4-6 participants, but the maximum number of guests never exceed 8 people.
We can also offer private, tailor-made bird photography tours.
